The BA745 by Boston Acoustics is a compact, self-powered speaker system that brings dynamic, high fidelity sound to the desktop. Whether the program material is MP3 music, explosive action games, or DVD movies, the BA745 delivers a memorable audio experience. It is a three-piece system with two micro-sized satellites with integrated stands and a sleek subwoofer. Three channels of amplification are housed in the subwoofer cabinet, one for the subwoofer and two for the satellites. In addition, the BA745 has both headphone and microphone jacks conveniently located on the right satellite--no more bending down to reach behind the computer!

    I just gotta say, this thing was packed EXCEPTIONALLY well. . I know it's not economical to ship something fragile with weird dimensions, but they didn't let that stop them. .
