I cleaned the surface with alcohol attached the base, let it set for three days and when I attached the control head the mount stayed in place for less than three hours in my garage out of the sunlight. I have removed the adhesive and have ordered a different adhesive which I hope will work better. The mount usually works well on plastics, not so good on vinyl. I did check our website, but I have not seen a question in regards to this mount, and since you did not contact us through e-bay, which is where you purchased the product, we can not match your e-mail with the order.
