- 8***r (116)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseConfirmed Success: 64GB (4x16GB DIMM) on one model of AM3+ AMD Gigabyte motherboard (Gigabyte Motherboard GA-990FXA-UD3 R5 (Rev 1.0)) while using an AMD FX-8350 CPU and Vmware ESXi 7.0u3.However, preliminary results for another model of earlier AM3+ Gigabyte Motherboard, GA-78LMT-USB3 R2 (with latest BIOS) appeared to have issues when a full 64GB (4x16GB DIMM) was used, possibly due to BIOS PCIe MMIO address space issues.. MB booted ok, did not fully work (network card failure to operate) .
