It was placed in a priority box, taped, and shipped with no layer of protection around it like bubble wrap or Styrofoam. I Can't say it affected the converter as it hasnt been installed yet. I was offered a refund if I return it however then I would be out of return shipping so this will essentially be a 50/50 chance that it wasnt damaged intenally via shipping. We shall see. I'm neutral in terms of satisfsction.
