They do not, they actually have a magnetic ring inside the socket. As it happens, I much prefer this as it holds onto the plug much better. The case is good. Minor: Sockets look good but on the thin walled 16mm the logo is upside down and at the wrong end of the socket to the other 3. Not the end of the world for such a reasonably priced set but it's a bit annoying.
