Starter was new, well packaged, undamaged. My truck started with a slower, weaker and longer cranking time than normal so I replaced the batteries and then fuel filters, I was afraid the injection pump would be going out but once running the engine was great so I didn’t do anything else until I started having intermittent no crank and diagnosing a faulty starter.
