- 8***a (113)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseFirst the downside: model trains come in HO (1/87) scale, while ships and aircraft come in a variety of sizes, with 1/72 being the closest (it looks like there’s about a 1/4” height difference between them). So I looked up LCACs in the 1/72 scale, and found a wide range in cost between sellers. However, Japan uses the same hovercraft as the US Navy. The models are cheaper than the US version. So I’m very happy with the quality of the JMSDF LCAC, but will compare it to the USN LCAC I ordered.
