The advert said brand new I got used junk. The ring and pinion were obviously used and sent back and then sent to me. There was numbers etched into the ring and into the pinon. The part came rusted and had the grease paint still on it. So now I'm stuck with this because seller does not stand by their product or even attempt to make it right. Worst experience I have ever had buying.The seller took no initiative to make it right. He pawned it off on someone else. 0/10 do not recommend at all.

This is new from the manufacturer. It is a ring and pinion gear and is designed for functionality and reliability vs aesthetics. The numbers are QC matching batch numbers and recommended backlash settings checked and scribed during production, the recommended pattern is left on the teeth after lapping to show the recommended contact setup. You sent a mean-spirited note immediately before feedback without letting try to help, so your rating scale and honesty is a quite a bit skewed.
