    This is a new LCD screen that perfectly replicates the old one but with a built in LED backlight. The result is very bright and easy to read even at an angle. Of all the options out there this is the most expensive but it's also the best and as soon as you see it you won't regret the cost. Easy to install and doesn't require the inverter (which often makes a high pitched noise) and doesn't require any extra power feeds, leaving them free for SCSI drive emulators etc.

    Very happy with my purchase! No more eye strain like the old, dull screen on my Akai CD3000i. Very easy to install, too (the pins on the rear of the board were positioned a little too high up so I had to clip away a small part of the sampler’s internal frame to make it fit, but that was simple & quick to do). Also, no more inverter whine. Well worth it if you’re struggling with a poor backlight & limited angle of visibility.

    Screen is super easy to fit (Akai s3000xl) and looks absolutely beautiful - I love the blue. Arrived super quick. For people that unplug the inverter… on mine if I leave it on for a while the circuit freaks it so gives max voltage to the new screen so all pixels are on. I just leave the inverter plugged in and screen voltage stabilises.
