WD NoTouch ramp load technology ensures that the recording head of the hard drive doesn't touch the disk media. The feature greatly reduces wear on both the recording head and the media. It also serves to better protect the hard drive while being transported. This internal HDD features a metallic cover that protects data from damaging bumps and vibrations.
