I’ve had to replace several platess and discs and at some point one of my dumbells started struggling to hold on the heavy plate. To remedy I tightened but only worked if the adjacent plate was being used so 50 or 55 lbs it may fall out. This new handle completely fixed and unlike my tightened one, spins EASILY to change weights. I may buy another just to upgrade the working one.
