HOWEVER these lamps are not suitable for MG Midget 1500. The sidelight fitting is not the same as the sealed beam original. You will need to extend the wiring for the sidelight. That is the minor issue, the main problem is the sidelight fixing makes the unit difficult to instal in the light shell. I managed to get one in but wrecked the fixing on the second unit.
