He received the package back, I paid a small shipping fee again (rightfully so and was happy to do it) and he immediately reshipped to the correct address and I had it in a couple days. Perfect condition poster that was packaged well enough to survive a rainstorm before I could get home. Amazing responsiveness, and seems like a genuinely good guy.
