The black and white Brother International PT-2030 Thermal Label Printer allows you to organize your home and business. Use this portable label maker to create durable, professional, laminated labels in four easy-to-read fonts. The Brother PT-2030 Thermal Label Printer runs on six AA batteries or an AC adaptor for work in the field or at a desk and is easy to carry from task to task at home or in an office. Use this amazing device to quickly print labels for file folders, shipping, signs and notes, product identification, and price tags. The Brother PT-2030 Label Printer has a large, 16-characters, two-line, graphical display, a QWERTY keyboard, and a preview key to proof each label before printing. For faster, more efficient work, use the nine preset keys to save the information that you use most often. With this labeler, you won’t need to stop at the local office supplies store. Print quality, clear labels with a maximum resolution of 180 dpi at 10mm per second. The only supplies or accessories the Brother Thermal Printer uses are 3.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, and 18mm thermal transfer tapes that need manual installation. It supports tapes up to 26.2 feet long. This Brother label maker works with standard laminated, flexible ID; non-laminated iron-on fabric; extra-strength adhesive; and acid-free tapes. For multiple copies of one label that you don’t want to save as a favorite on the the Brother Thermal Labeler, use the repeat function up to 9 times before you need to re-enter the information. The four fonts are Helsinki, Brussels, Florida, and Calgary, and they print in seven font sizes and ten different styles. Use the 23 auto formats to bypass programming each step, and choose from the 55 designs that come with the Brother PT-2030. Pick between 16 different frames to center the text and enhance the label’s design, including one fill pattern option. You can also use it to print barcodes. It is compatible with Code128, Code39, EAN-8, EAN-13, GS1-128, UPC-A, UPC-E, I-2/5 and CODABAR. Print barcodes with or without a laminated tape. While it won’t replace your desktop printer, it will give you clear, black on white labels without the hassle and expense of ink or toner cartridges. These label makers are easy to use, and unlike the more expensive models, there are no accessories to purchase along with the Brother International. This mobile machine doesn’t need to connect to a computer, and there’s no software to download. Just read the user’s manual and follow the steps to load and change the tape and start printing laminated, professional labels. The Brother PT-2030 printer uses thermal technology to transfer letters, numbers, and symbols onto tape. To detach newly printed labels from the Brother labeler, just pull up on it for an even slice with the handheld device’s manual cutter. All Brother PT-2030 tapes are smooth and come free of perforations and cut lines. The Brother International PT-2030 comes with a 12mm starter TZ laminated tape and an instruction manual. An AC adaptor and batteries are sold separately. It also supports TZe tapes. This labeler is the perfect device to create professional labels for organizing, shipping, and similar needs in any home or business.
