Not ideal as this is a kids game and will be used by children. Not sure if that was known or not by this seller before they sold and shipped the item, so only took off a couple points. After cleaning all of the plastic pieces and using spray freshener and fabric sheets on the cardboard box, it's much less pungent and usable for kids.
