    looks new; arrived promptly; carefully installed but now no screen; before had screen but with white and black dots and intermittent horizontal black lines; now have to disassemble again, install original chip and reassemble to learn whether new chip bad or incompatible or now some other issue; took me about 4 hours to carefully disassemble, install new chip & reassemble; so disappointed when my BenQ TH585 projector didn't fire right up; i'll update experience in few days if eBay still allows.

    Sorry to heard about that. But we did test one by one before ship may be your projector was bad? Make sure install it properly and close the lamp bulb cover with 2 screws (make sure no gap on lamp bulb cover), otherwise the projector will not power on without close lamp/ bulb cover. if still, maybe your projector has other internal part such as mother board or ballast need repair , not always cause by DMD CHIP
