I had to force the bolt into the correct position to engage the clamp as it was pushed up and seized in the upright position. The clamp we sent out was new from Interstate McBee straight from the package. It is possible there could have been some damage from shipping which is out of our control, but if the product is unusable we can send a replacement if you message us. I placed this clamp on one of our new intake elbows and it fits perfectly. We always help out our customers to keep them satisfied, So if you message or call us we can get you taken care of.
