I tried using a generic (but well reviewed) patch cable and no luck. The Cable Matters 1M patch cable (P/N: 201403-1m) got me advertised speeds with CrystalDiskMark, but only in one orientation of the extension to the CLIFF connector. Would buy again, but definitely get the Cable Matters cable!
