The problem is that the blender is so old that they no longer manufacture the motor so I thought my other option was to try and find one used. The only complaint I have is that the finish on the top or where the glass decanter sits is a bit scratched due to someone trying to clean something off and used a very abrasive pad that left the chrome scratched.
