It may be because this vehicle being one of the first of this model made could well be what is known as a "Crossover" made before the model run, and as such some parts I have found are different such as this sensor.Reply from: integrated_control- Feedback replied by seller integrated_control.- Feedback replied by seller integrated_control.Incorrect analysis. Engineering review confirmed this is correct part for 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS 2.7L vehicles. AutoZone, O'Reilly, Advance Autoparts also confirm this is the correct part for the vehicle application. Buyer likely trying to replace Crank Sensor with a Cam Sensor.
