    The coin was marked delivered by the Post Office but it was never placed in my postal box. I think that it was stolen by a substitute postal carrier. Not your fault. I lose about 1.5-2.75 coins per year.

    WOW! I applaud you for your honesty and transparency to all. It's a shame that it happened. Did you at least make an inquiry with your Postmaster? I understand it wasn't a large purchase. But at least it would put them on notice since it happened through your local carrier office.
