So, when you take on/off you don't destroy the lavish netting and feathers. without this wire you would be crushing the fragile edges! Beautifully designed! Not signed and will include the original plain hatbox (hatbox in poor conditon) - hat in very good condition worn gently and kept for decades in cedar closet safely stored. Gorgeous full brown and black lavish feathers which move with the wind! Very good condition given its age...spectacular Victorian/Edwardian woman's period hat! Being sold in as is as found condition and not returnable!”
