    I bought 4 units. These are previous generation models but are almost the same as the present models. I checked all serial numbers at the Seagate web site and 3 units out of the 4 came with 2+years warranty remaining. One of the 4 drives didn't show any warranty. Over all, concerning the price (reasonably cheap) I'm satisfied with the buy. I mounted the drives into a NAS in a RAID-5 configuration and are working fine.
