I received the bike saddle quickly. I didn't expect new,after all this was a used leather seat. I have one,I purchased new,and I know you need to treat them well. I think it all depends on that, for how well the leather holds up. I was a bit disappointed in some of the cracking on the leather,as it was hard to see in pictures. The saddle had never been tensioned.. period. I think that's what lead to that. It really needed tightening up,and after multiple applications of proof hide.jury is out
