You cannot use the Seagate software to change it to 512 or 512e. My HP P840 does not support 4096n. I tried to return them, but this seller declined to take them back. 2, The drives look really rough. They have dents and scratches that you won't find on any other used drives from eBay unless its sold as scrap. 3, they have 50k+ hours on them, not 100% health.
