I had a bit of trouble updating the firmware, but it’s an older machine and being an engineer, I know these things happen. Overall, it does what I need and offloads a lot of storage from my phone (photos and videos) and serves it’s purpose. Pair with 4x 4TB 3.5” Hard Disk Drives, it provides me with roughly 10.9TB of useable storage when in a RAID5 configuration. I’d definitely recommend an offsite backup for those of you who are serious about your data.
