clean but shutter was frozen. they paid for return shipping, offered full refund but i took a partial and shipped to a repair guy at their expense.in the end, the camera was not working as described,turned out to be modified with a non working shutter part which their tech could not fix or identify, and their final position was that kodak IIIC cameras were "one off" units and no one who knew what was what could expect any different. not sure i agree with that. so-so deal.
