As advertised. Wish I could find one that was AMC specific as I used it in a 1972 AMC Javelin AMX. It is just a bit long but unless you are a concours level restorer, you would never notice. Could easily be shipped in a padded mailer versus a box. There are no instructions for removing the gear on the end but it is just a press fit. You can punch the old shaft off with a small punch and tap it on with a small hammer with a light touch.
