- a***r (27)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseI got this and tried to instal on my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Diesel. After instal the Jeep would start and then shut off 5 seconds later. I found out that it has to be installed by a Dodge Jeep dealer as there is a bit of programming that needs to be done. They charged me 1 hour labour. With the replacement the key not coming out issue was totally fixed. This replacement is the GEN 2 model which fixes the issue with the GEN 1. Totally happy with this!
