Although items were listed as new in unopened boxes, all boxes arrived opened. Seller stated in an email that the open boxes were for product testing purposes. I have a little trouble believing that they would test every bulb but maybe they did. I do think that should have been disclosed in the listing. Since I will be using the bulbs over many years, I have no way of knowing how good they are.
