I replaced my Bosch starter motor with this one, and it's quieter (by about 20-25 decibels), more torquey and engages with the flywheel way better. I hope it lasts as long as my 23 year old Bosch one. The metal seems high quality and to be treated, so it won't rust, there's also paint on it for food measure. Starter motor is in new condition as described. Best value online, and looks great.
