I bought it because the key holder on my car key shattered unexpectedly. I have separated the donor key from the body and replaced it with my own, then installed the key back into my fob. This has saved me having to have a replacement key cut, or alternatively, buying a new key fob from VW. Can’t thank you enough and would highly recommend your business to others.
