A 2nd divorce, losing his beloved Father to Alzheimer's, his struggles in early sobriety with angst and humor. The original "Black Books" recording which later appeared in the Sopranos 2nd season. Stellar sax by Branford Marsalis and perhaps his best co-write with Lou Reed, the song "Life". A visceral, dark ride from start to finish. A must for Nils collectors.
