I do not recommend trying to open your old MagSafe case and unsolder/resolder this new cable in. ITS DIFFICULT to get into the guts and not damage/ break other items. I RECOMMEND... Use this new cable but simply cut off the old one about 6 out and cut this new one the same and then just splice/solder/sleeeve them together. It s a simple 2 wire cable. Way easier/safer than trying to solder it direct on the circuit board of the charger.

However, even if not completely the seller's fault, the packaging, which was a simple plastic bag, allowed for USPS to crush and damage the contents during shipment, the batteries were not damaged but came out of their respective boxes inside the envelope. Other than that, good experience with the seller.
