I thought it would be the size of a small amp, but instead the unit is tiny and about the size of a small portable speaker. This means the speaker cables are super close to one another on the back of this unit and you have to be right close in front of the unit to actually see the VU needle moving. I like the concept of this unit, but the size is ridiculously small and hard to use.

The packing is double boxed with professional plastic film wrapping on the outer box and the component itself. You can hardly break the package even intentionally! The item is brand new and again since it is film wrapped, prepare to spend 5 minutes unwrapping the whole thing. The sound is good immediately out of the box. I will let it run a while first. Value exceeds expectation YES!
