For the R7 the screws work fine but it's not connected with the camera in the upper part of the eyecup and because of that the upper part wobbles making it unusable. At least for me, because the original eyecup is secured in the upper part and in the lower with the screws. And the problem is that the plastic is not straight in the upper part where it should latch on to the camera.
