The Seagate hard drive has a spindle speed of 7200 RPM, delivering fast performance and access time. This durable internal hard drive also features Seagate’s Sound Barrier Technology for reduced acoustics and quiet operation. The Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 uses a Serial ATA interface with an 8 MB buffer size for a smooth transition between the drive and other computer systems. Furthermore, it has a seek time of 8.5 ms that allows for rapid data location, and it sports a 3D Defense System for competent and enhanced data reliability. Hot Swap capabilities allow users to switch the Seagate hard drive out of the computer without having to shut down the system. With an 80 GB storage density, the Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 offers ample space that meets user’s data storage needs.
