I took the ECM to Peterbilt and the same thing happened no communication. I sent my ecm to Texas they diagnosed my ecm thermally damaged unrepairable they quoted me $1900 for a replacement, $800 more than my local shop. I asked them to send my core back which they did thankfully. I spent time and money getting an ecm locally only to find that WASN'T my problem. I reinstalled my "bad" ecm and there is nothing wrong!
