It was generally in decent condition, some wear on the threading and on the inside lining, and a few spots of a plaster-like substance on the outside of the coat but which I was fortunately able to scratch off easily. But it being surplus irregularities are to be expected. If you are below 1,80m I would definitely recommend the smallest size. And inside one of the pockets was a little surprise... :)

I'm ok with both because there is no doubt that it's real wool...keep in mind that this might not be a dress coat but definitely a survival coat where being warm is number one.
