The primary connection cable from the mic jack to the PTT junction is very well made and durable. You MUST make sure the jack is completely screwed in all the way or the PTT won't engage. This also helps with waterproofing. I put this on my Yaesu VX-6R. Very pleased.

I believe im having other issues that is not related to the fuel pump. The company reached out and want to make sure I am happy with the product.
