    Exactly what it is. Led’s. Id give 5 stars if the remote had a battery. But they don’t, so you have to buy button batteries to even turn them on. It does say that in the description, but there is no other way to turn them on without the remote. Otherwise they work as intended. Where the strip connects to the power, its a weak point as well. It does not lock together so it will fall apart if not secured with tape.
