The Vivitar VPT-1200 tripod is made of aluminum, but has a platinum finish. It comes with a quick-release mounting platform that allows amateur and professional photographers to grab their camera quickly for hand shooting. Radial leg braces offer support to this Vivitar Tripod so it can handle cameras and telephoto lenses of various weights for steady shots. A three-way pan head allows for easy moving of the camera and the center column gives the pan head added control when moving. The total leg diameter of the Vivitar VPT-1200 is .08 inches. The length of this Vivitar Tripod when folded is 21.63 inches and when it is extended full, the length is 58.25 inches. The total weight of the tripod is 2.4 lbs and can be carried in a convenient travel case that can fit most Vivitar Tripods. The travel case measures 27.5 inches by eight inches by five inches. Also included with this Vivitar Tripod are a radial tri-brace, a locking brace, and an accessory hook.
