The original box I had was a sealed box but the original 12 inch speaker broke down and had to replace it a new speaker. The new speaker didn’t sound as deep bass as the old speaker, the reason was that the new speaker according specs needed a ported box hence the reason for buying this box. Now I hear the lows and the midrange of bass much better than in the old box. The new box is of fairly decent quality.
