The seller didn't create the issue & I'm unsure if she knew about it. I tried the shoes on in our room and immediately felt the rub on the back of my heel by the leather laces that go through the shoe. I've not worn them yet. I ordered heel pads and hope that negates the issue, if not...my birthday present won't be enjoyed. Namasté
