It was actually quite well packed but the "trusted courier service" that was used did quite a job on it during delivery. I was nervous at first but when I finally got the drum out of the packaging I was relieved to see it was no worse for wear save a ding on the batter head. This wasn't an issue for me as its just the factory PDP head and thats literally the first thing I will be replacing anyhow.
