I was told to stay away from stainless steel braided lines, as they can fail and when they do, they leak through the braiding. I was also told that if the lines fail and are more than three years old, you may have a problem getting your insurance company to pay for water damage. Using these stainless flex lines, you can count on them to last virtually forever. There is no plastic lining that can fail. They are only a couple of bucks more.
