The flex cable pins for the screen were filthy. I had to give the pins a good scrubbing with isopropyl alcohol to get it to work properly. The AV input was wired incorrectly but that was easy enough to swap. These do have remote functionality, you just need to add a IR receiver to the available and labeled vias next to the button board connector. So buying these used panels are a gamble.
