I faced issues with mast replacements from two suppliers, likely from China, and the tips provided didn’t help. My mechanic, experienced with this task, could have done it for me. While I'm not inexperienced, going with the supplier who had already tested the assembly replacement felt like the best option, despite the extra cost. A little oil on the grommet is req.
