Seller also shipped item with batteries inside and they were lose on arrival bouncing around during shipping which could have caused it needing to be repaired. Not a good idea for D size batteries. Clock also had extensive damage because of battery corrosion add never mentioned and was filthy inside. Hope it can be repaired.
