I wanted to reuse the old hands because I didn't like the hands that come with this one. I was concerned if the old hands would fit the new movement since my old movement is quite old. Seller didn't answer my question. I gambled and bought it. The rectangular hole in my old minute hand was too large to fit properly. One speaker wire was broken-off at the solder-point to the speaker- but that was also a quick fix. I waited longer for the soldering iron to heat-up than it took to solder. The whole swap-out took about 45 minutes, about an hour including soldering and hand adjustment. Very best regards. -Mike-
